Thank you all for your interest of our irresistible babies. These are Bantam Bulldogges. Yes they are an actual breed registerable with the IOEBA, The breed standard may be found on their official website if you would like to learn more info. Many love the bully breeds and may find that the size, stubbornness, stamina, and breathing restrictions of the English are some of the traits that deter some from purchasing and English. The Bantam Bulldogge was designed with many of those reasons in mind. Bringing the size down to 20-40lbs is much more manageable for many. Also less bone and developmental issues of a heavier structured dog. The Bantam Bulldogge’s size is great for apartment living, and they are much easier to pick up to love on them.
Yes they are a mix. All breeds that exist to this date have been "mixed" with something to create that breed. The dogs in our Bantam Bulldogge program are carefully selected looking at health first and foremost and temperament. Once those things are in place, we then look at type. Some prefer the more “French Bulldog” look with the frenchy bat ears, others prefer the “English Bulldog” Look. The 4 main breeds of the Bantam Bulldogges are English, French, Boston, & Pug. In order to be classified a Bantam Bulldogge, they must contain English Bulldog. Our Bantam’s are mainly English & French, with the occasional Boston or Pug used to keep them in the size range. The Bantams do not have the breathing restrictions as the English, or the lack of stamina. As we have been working on our foundation breeding for the Bantams, our bantam girls have free whelped and have been excellent mothers for 5 generations now. Each litter of our Bantams has been an absolute delight. The pups are super smart and catch on to learning faster than any breed we have had the experience to love. The Bantam pups are extremely loveabull, comical, and Quiet! If you are looking for a Bully type breed but want more than just a pile of wrinkles, that are not heavy, large, require special skin fold care, but can handle longer walks and play time, the Bantam Bulldogge is for you! The Bantam Bulldogges are full of comical entertainment with extremely loving personalities in a smaller package.

Bantam Bulldogge Breed Standard (short description)
General Description : The Bantam Bulldogge is what many "Toy Bulldogs" pheno-typically looked like in the early 1800s when the Bulldog that had been used in previous centuries for bull and bear baiting had been bred down in size to a small bulldog weighing between 20lbs - 40lbs.
The perfect Bantam Bulldogge should be of short to medium height with a square-looking head and a strong, muscular body. The disposition should be friendly, brave, and loyal. The temperament is to be steady and dependable.
Males should be free breeders and females should free whelp as a rule. The Bantam Bulldogge should not have the same breathing or activity limitations of some modern bull breeds.
Their lifespan is between 10 and 14 years.
